I’ve Blogged and Facebooked, I’ve been Twittered and Skyped
And that business with Myspace was just so much hype
I’ve Googled and Yahoo’d and seen much multi-media
And there’s nothing I can’t find with that old Wikipedia
With music and video my hard drives are encoded
As well as software and pictures and other crap I’ve downloaded
Technology’s great but I miss things gone away
Like old neighborhoods, friends and my 401K
No more hanging on corners or dips under the plug
No more am I referred to as a punk or a thug
Now I’m left to wonder if my open mind’s intact
When I hear myself bitch about the way young folks act
These high tech marvels are they bad or OK?
Do they bring us together or do they push us away
So I’ll close the laptop and wonder and shut down the PC
I’m goin’ downstairs to play a game on the Wii

Now that's a poem worthy of the Bard. I couldn't agree more.
Have at it.
Love.

Thanks Unka Jim. Just the other day a barman reffered to me as the Bard. Or so I thought. What he actually said was "you are barred and if you don't get out of here right now I'm gonna' throw you out". What'a ya gonna' do?

Break Out the Bongos. This reminds me of the old coffee house days. Snap Snap Snap Snap!!!!!!
something like that would have been worthy of the dance show ad for Bailey
